Moscow airport information

General information about Moscow airport

Moscow welcomes its visitors in three civilian airports, one of which – Sheremetyevo International Airport – is the symbol of Russia. Ingenious shape of the building catches the eye. Back in the Soviet times it was perceived as a sign of certain freedom and friendliness of the state. The airfield is one of the twenty largest in Europe. The airport has six terminals, a scheduled bus and a free shuttle-bus running between them. In 2012 Sheremetyevo was named the best airport on the continent for its level of service. Once you arrive at Sheremetyevo, you will be pleasantly surprised by quality services of its personnel and comfortable terminals. There is a chapel in every terminal, numerous travel agencies, banks and currency exchange booths, snug-looking restaurants and cafes offering a variety of cuisines, car rental companies, excellent boutiques selling designer clothes and souvenirs, and the airport museum exhibiting some really exclusive items. There are the Eastern Orthodox Cathedral and Air Express Mini-Hotel on the premises. So the time will fly for you when you find yourself at the airport!
