Washington airports are all named after distinguished political leaders. Americans are known to immortalize their heroes in architectural structures. One more airport is Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport named after the 40th president of the USA. It is located in close proximity to central administrative buildings of Washington and has its own subway station. However, it handles only domestic flights since there are no international customs facilities there.
