There is only one airport in Goa, India's smallest state, - Goa International Airport, more commonly known as Dabolim Airport. It is located 30 km from the capital city Panjim, and it is easy to get from there to any place in the South or North Goa. The airport is linked to popular recreational areas by scheduled buses. If you prefer a more comfortable ride, you can always take a taxi. The airport serves mainly charter flights and due to large passenger traffic it became one of the major hubs in India, from which tourists go to other popular destinations in the country – Bombay, Delhi, Jaipur and others. The airport is rather large. It has two terminals, and transit passengers often have to move from one terminal to another. However, if you took an international flight to Goa and intend to fly back the same way, then you have nothing to worry about. Dabolim Airport is fairly modern with the minimum required infrastructure: cafes, foreign currency exchange booths and lounges. The only drawback is that there are no luggage lockers.
