Tenerife sightseeing and things to do in city
Do you like amusement parks? What would you say about the best of the best amusement park? Siam Park in Tenerife is the largest and the best in Europe, and one of top 10 famous water parks in the world. Of course, this is not a natural landmark, but one of those that you must visit on arrival to Tenerife from Phoenix. Among amusement opportunities there is a 28-meter long slide and a huge barrel filled with water, which is poured on the visitors from a great height. But the most impressive is a wave pool with waves nearly as good as in the ocean. Siam Park is really huge! You can rent a villa and spend a whole day there. But once you are in Tenerife, do climb to the top of the Teide volcano, which is considered the hallmark of the island. There is a variety of ways how to get to the crater, but the quickest one is via the Teide cable car. From the cabin you can enjoy magical views of weathered and lifeless Masca valley that has repeatedly served as a scenery for the films about unexplored planets. You can also see unusual rocks, which forms aren't subject to the laws of nature. These are "stone trees" with the tops being much broader than the bases.
